Denver's winters are among the most punishing in the lower 48 for RV water systems. The city's elevation means hard freezes arrive earlier in autumn and linger later into spring, and nighttime temperatures regularly drop below 15 degrees F. When water freezes inside PEX supply lines, the expansion pressure can split fittings, crack the pump housing, and rupture the inlet at the water heater.
